Governer of Abruzzo Region, Marco Marsilio, was welcomed at Sbarro Health Research Organization (SHRO) at Temple University, Philadelphia on 19th April 2022 by Professor Antonio Giordano, Founder & Director of SHRO. Governer Marsilio was accompanied by the Director of Health Department Claudio D'Amario and they had an opportunity to see our laboratories at our medical research center and also meet with researchers from Abruzzo Universities with which SHRO actively collaborates.
The visit was part of the institutional mission of the Abruzzo Region as "Region of Honor 2021" of the National Italian American Foundation.
Professor Antonio Giordano underlined the importance of study programs for researchers and urged President Marsilio to further strengthen relations with Abruzzo universities.
Subsequently, Governor Marsilio also had the opportunity to briefly meet Prof. Hai-Lung Dai, Vice President of Temple University, and the scientific community.
